You may have heard in the News that the government is planning what they call a reform of the pension provision for NHS staff.
At present staff receive a pension based on their final salary. The proposed changes include reducing pensions by calculating your pension based on an average of your salary over your working life.

Jes S Lindholt, Svend Juul, Helge Fasting, Eskild W Henneberg The BMJ has published a paper looking at whether screening for abdominal aortic aneurysm reduces death from the disease.

Welcome to the new look Surgeons Net Site. We have upgraded to a new content management system that should make it easier to keeps things up to date and current. We plan to move across all the old conent from the orignal site, bring the MCQs back online and provide a new forum for discussions.
