A surgical SHO at Brighton Hospital is carrying out a questionnaire on surgical operation notes and has asked me to publish it. Please visit the site and there is a prize on offer.

To quote from the site:

"This questionnaire has been designed to explore practice in relation to the writing of operative notes, and teaching on operative notes. The information is being collected for research purposes.

This questionnaire is an independent SHO project. The authors have no financial interests nor industrial relations. The questionnaire is sponsored by a charitable fund from Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals.

This questionnaire is the online continuation of a paperbased prestudy at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals started as an SHO audit project in the Department of Surgery.

If you are a surgeon in any surgical speciality, we would be very grateful if you would spend 5 minutes completing this questionnaire. Your response is confidential and identifying information is only being collected for verification purposes and to enable us to offer a free prize draw for 3 Palm Tx, no fees, free delivery, full service. The draw for the 3 Plam Tx will take place on 2nd February 2006. For further information about the survey email Dr. Dietmar Borchert at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Links to earlier research and project sponsors are available once your response has been submitted."
