You may have heard in the News that the government is planning what they call a reform of the pension provision for NHS staff.

At present staff receive a pension based on their final salary. The proposed changes include reducing pensions by calculating your pension based on an average of your salary over your working life.

The consultation period runs until 11th April. So it is important to get your views in. Include your title, full name, speciality and where you are working.

UPDATE:
The BMA have a nice form to email your local MP. You need a BMA login to access the form, but it is well worth having your opinion heard.
