The next big action from Remedy UK is going to be the Mass Lobby on 24th April. This has never been done before by the medical profession (follow details closely below)

If we can get over 1000 people to Parliament on 24th this will be a really embarrassing blow to government.

Can't stress the importance of booking leave off and coming to parliament. If successful its political impact would outstrip the march.

Please forward them to friends and family around the country to try to get some momentum on this.

What is a mass lobby?
Lobbying your elected representatives in the House of Commons is an ancient right. It is an opportunity for you to convey your feelings in person. Your MP must meet with you if they do not have prior engagements. A mass lobby simply an organised mass request to meet by a group.

What are Remedy lobbying for?
Remedy UK originated before we knew what a shambles MTAS was going to be. Many MPs will be under the impression that the review body have solved our problems. We need them to understand that this is not the case.

Who needs to come?
It is essential that we have as many constituencies represented as possible. Anyone can join in – Doctors, Family etc. You can only lobby the MP where your electoral vote is (Your main residence). We will only be allowed 3 lobbyists per MP and you will only be able to raise a few points with them.

I want to be there – What do I do?
This is more complicated to organise than the march, so PLEASE follow these instructions.

Register with Remedy by e mailing us on This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Please state your name, Constituency, MP, your status (e.g., Doctor,Mum,Friend etc.) and we need your mobile number to put you in touch with your fellow constituents.

AFTER you have received a confirmation e mail from us, you need to write or e mail your MP. We will send you a suggested text with your confirmation.

Your MP will contact you to arrange a time. You need to give yourself 45 minutes to get through security. We will provide further details in a briefing in the week before the lobby.

If we already have 3 lobbyists for your constituency we still need you to come. We are planning a rally outside Parliament. There will be speeches, media presence - this will be as important as the lobby itself.
