Welcome, Guest to the MCQ / EMQ question section.

The questions here are aimed at candidates sitting the MRCS MCQ papers in Surgery. However, I am sure that others (eg final year medical students) will find the questions useful.

Rather than just having a set of MCQs that you could pick up from any book, we have atempted to use the electronic medium to its full advantage. (Note that the site is currently under delvelopment so all these features are not yet present!)

• The ability to come back to a set of questions at any time later
• Randomisation of the MCQ options, so that if you repeat questions you don't just answer by pattern recognition
• Ability to pick which area you need to concentrate on
• User entered questions from memory of the actual exam
• Links to useful tables / diagrams in explainations
• Suggestions on weak areas, based on your answers!!
• Discussion areas for the questions. If you think a question is wrong you can discuss the answer
